Lysandre began his adult life as an avid man of science, devoted to helping all he could with his inventions and research. He began Fleur-De-Lis Labs to produce his cutting edge technology, and distribute it to the world. The profits were split between maintenance and charity, while Lysandre himself lived a relatively modest life. When his college friend Augustine Sycamore approached him for a collaboration on researching Mega Evolution, Lysandre happily joined the work, for a time. However, the charity he'd been giving for years was failing to have any effect. The money was squandered on frivolities, rather than being invested to climb out of poverty. Even those he helped to find jobs quickly gave up on them, instead deciding to live off the kindness of others and feed on their handouts.He was disgusted.Lysandre eventually left his joint venture with Augustine, and devoted more attention and funds to his private projects, damming the philanthropic flow of his business. He took a downward spiral, laser focusing on the sins of humanity, and decided they needed a fresh start. Through intense study and inane amounts spent on collection, Lysandre found the remains of the Ultimate Weapon. Over the next few years, he grew a secondary organization, Team Flare, to work on the parts of the project that could never be known about publicly. Lysandre sought to power the Ultimate Weapon through purely artificial means, using a strong Synthetic Pokemon as it's core. He used contacts overseas to acquire confiscated records from Team Rocket's old laboratories, about the creation of Mewtwo. Team Flare constructed their own Mewtwo, but it was unruly and broke free, fleeing to parts unknown. Back to the drawing board, Lysandre's second plan was more complex, but with more safeguards in place. Team Flare acquired a Zygarde Core, and began to research Xerneas and Yveltal. Both Aura Pokemon were dormant, and their activation would be essential to the powering of the weapon. Lysandre sent one of his assistants, Alain, to Hoenn. There, Alain helped acquire the Megalith, which Lysandre assured him would be used to create renewable energy for the good of Mankind. In truth, the Megalith would be a catalyst to the control of Zygarde.Finally, once the dormant Xerneas and Yveltal were collected, Lysandre announced his identity to the world, giving them time to make peace with themselves and whatever they worshipped before their annihilation. As the Vaniville Heroes storm Team Flare's secret base, Lysandre draws power from the slumbering duo, causing the Zygarde Core to begin drawing in Z-Cells from around the region. As Zygarde is formed, Lysandre activates the Megalith to direct it's energy into the Ultimate Weapon. However, before it can be fired, the Vaniville Heroes free and subdue Xerneas and Yveltal, causing Zygarde to fall apart into a mass of cells. Lysandre battles the Heroes and suffers a crushing defeat. The Aura Trio and Heroes escape the crumbling lab, save for the Zygarde Core.The collapse of the ultimate weapon destroyed the lab, and killed Lysandre. However, the remaining core of Zygarde climbed into the dead man's chest and replaced his heart, reviving his body. When he escaped the ruins of the lab, he attempted to end his life once more. However, Zygarde refused. It would keep him alive indefinitely, serving as a guardian of nature as punishment for his transgressions. He will be an active arm of Zygarde's function to protect the ecosystem until the end of days.

Portrayal

[This page will cover headcanons.]- Lysandre comes from a timeline that is a complicated mixture of the X and Y Games, the XY&Z Anime + The Mega Evolution Specials, and a hint of Adventures. All the major beats are touched on in the About tab.- Zygarde provides his body with life after death, and his cells continue to regenerate as if he were alive. It's both ressurection and immortality, though both could be lost at Zygarde's whim. Whether or not his soul returned to the body is up for debate, he may simply be a husk.- Lysandre is 6'4", and huge genes run in the "Royal" Bloodline. His height will only increase over time, due to the continued aging of Immortality.- His full name is Lysandre Parfum Fuladari. Parfum coming from the Castle of the ancient King AZ, being an old family surname; and Fuladari being his Japanese name which is derived from Fleur-De-Lis.- Now that he's out of a job due to both being a renown terrorist and also legally dead, Lysandre lives outside Pokémon Forest in a small cottage of his own construction. He has a berry farm, despite not really needing to eat.- Ever since fusing with Zygarde, wild Pokémon flock to him. He frequently ends up with small Pokemon nesting in his hair, and has at this point given up on stopping them.

Companions

Lysandre released his team after escaping the ruins of the lab, and only Pyroar remains with him from the old group. However, he has since acquired several other Pokémon, who have been drawn to him since his transformation.The Shiny Gyarados has settled down at the waters by Parfum Palace, and taken the Gyaradosite with it to keep as a treasure. The other Pokemon have left to parts unknown.

Pyroar, the Royal Pokémon

Pyroar, the only member of Lysandre's original team. Originally obtained as a Litleo, Lysandre has had Pyroar for most of his life.Pyroar's favored moves are Noble Roar, Hyper Voice, Heat Wave, and Hidden Power (Grass). He holds a King's Rock. Has a Sassy Nature, and the ability Moxie.

Aegislash, the Royal Sword Pokémon

Aegislash lived in Parfum Palace for many generations, but was drawn to Lysandre when he was traveling. It once served Lysandre's Ancestors, and now senses a strong spirit in him.Aegislash's preferred moves are King's Shield, Sacred Sword, Shadow Claw, and Iron Head. It has an Adamant Nature, and the ability Stance Change.

Serperior, the Regal Pokémon

Serperior followed Lysandre out of the forest, silently observing. Drawn to the scent of berries he was carrying.Serperior's preferred moves are Leaf Storm, Glare, Dragon Pulse, and Aromatherapy. She has a Quiet Nature, and the ability Contrary.

Tyrantrum, the Despot Pokémon

Tyrantrum was digging in the hills, when Lysandre shared berries with him. After that, he stayed with the fiery man.Tyrantrum's preferred moves are Head Smash, Iron Head, Dragon Claw, and Earthquake. He has a Bashful Nature, and the ability Rock Head.

Empoelon, the Emperor Pokémon

Empoleon lives in Pokemon Village, and wandered into Lysandre's garden. He still lives independantly in the village, but allowed Lysandre to catch him for the purpose of trust and battling, and will follow him should he leave the forest.Empoleon's preferred moves are Flash Cannon, Scald, Signal beam, and Hydro Pump. He has a Bold Nature, and the ability Defiant.

Diancie, the Jewel Pokémon

Diancie was being sold in Kiloude City in a back alley deal. It escaped and encountered Lysandre, who scared off the pursuers. After that, it decided to stay with him.Diancie's preferred moves are Diamond Storm, Moon Blast, Psychic, and Hidden Power (Grass). It has a Hasty Nature, and the ability Clear Body.

Diancie holds a Diancite dropped by the seller. It's ability becomes Magic Bounce when it transforms.
